Special Masterclass by Patricia Ingham: "The Medieval New. Ambivalence in an Age of Innovation".

Patricia Clare Ingham is Associate Professor of English at Indiana University. She is author of Sovereign Fantasies: Arthurian Romance and the Making of Britain, also available from the University of Pennsylvania Press, and coeditor of Postcolonial Moves: Medieval Through Modern.


The class is open to all. Please register no later than 1 March 2016 with ozsmed@rug.nl.

 

Research Master and PhD students  of the Netherlands Research School for Medieval Studies, interested in participating in this class for 1 ECTS should email a 4-page review of the book, which elaborates on the topic of the Modernity of the Middle Ages to ozsmed@rug.nl , no later than 3 March 2016. Some University Libraries have the book available as e-book.
